My name is Jennifer Luke and I am an Australian Digital Designer & Trainer who specialises in Multimedia, Photographic Restoration & Digital Graphics.
Magpie Digital is the name of my design business which is based in the south east corner of Queensland, Australia and this website serves as my online design portfolio & studio news desk.
I regularly restore treasured photographs for people, retouch & enhance commercial photography, design & develop digital media for businesses/organisations, provide Training / Instructional Design and try to catch a few minutes each day for a good cup of coffee.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Multimedia
- Diploma of Information Technology
- Cert.IV in Training & Assessment
- Since 1995 I have been continually developing & honing my Digital Design, Multimedia & Training skills while working in jobs such as Marketing, E-Learning Design & Development, Group Training / Facilitating, Web Development & Graphic Design.
- Working closely with Small / Medium Size Businesses & Community Organisations is a speciality.
- You’ll find me also over at Clear Outlook where I provide Computer Skills & Career Development workshops to community & employment groups as well as small business.
Why the name Magpie?
The Magpie is a curious bird that is happily drawn to intriguing and unique things that catch it’s attention… something of which I can easily identify with.
Also, my local area has a number of Australian Magpie colonies who decided long ago to be friendly & concentrate on keeping the lawn grubs at bay…. instead of pecking us humans on the head… for that I felt honoured to name the design business after them.
